PBR-material – Phisically Based Rendering of material.

It describes the material in the phisically correct way and gives a realistic results in any lighting.

PBR-material allows to simulate almost any existing material and even to mix several ones.

The main principle of creation the PBR-material is using maps:

Final result – is an overlay of maps parameters in one pixel. Material is created using nodes. Node is a code block or operation which transforms or creates images. Node has input and output ports. Information enters the input, proccessed by node and comes out through output to next node. Nodes are linked into a chain of actions that leads to a result – texture or texture element. This approach called procedural. One of its features – is non-destructive pipeline. It means that it is possible to return to any action at any stage of the work and make changes to it and affect to the result.
